Name: Waterfront Park
Waterfront Park is set on Murtaugh Lake east of Twin Falls. It is an older park with mature trees and lawn. It has been "purchased" by Twin Falls County and they have started repairing and expanding it. There are new mooring and launch docks as well as a water wall to prevent erosion.
Campsites: There are electrical hook-ups for about 20 campers but they are very close together. Some of the sites have access to tables and barbecue stands, others do not.
Host on Site: No, the host is at Murtaugh Lake Park which is about a half mile away.
Water: Yes, there is good water.
Garbage Services: Yes.
Electricity Available: Yes, each site has electricity available.
Restroom: There is a vault style outhouse at the park which was clean and well stocked at the time of our visit.
Handicap Accessible: The outhouses are haindicap accessible.
Firewood: One may purchase firewood from the host at Murtaugh Lake Park just a half mile away but I would recommend bringing your own.
Pets: Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash.
Picnic Area: Groups use the shelter for picnics.
Recreation: Camping, fishing and boating are activities to be found here.
Fishing: Fishing is available in Murtaugh Lake.
Boating: There are nice boating facilities here including mooring docks.
Swimming: There is no "beach" but swimming is allowed at the docks. As there is no lifeguard you swim at your own risk.
Wildlife: Birds live around the lake in abundance. Murtaugh Lake is one the Idaho Birders "marked" locations.
Additional Camping Opportunities: We have review for these nearby campgrounds; Murtaugh Lake Park, Schipper Campground, Steer Basin Campground, Lower Penstemon Campground, Upper Penstemon Campground, Porcupine Springs Campground, FS Flats Campground, Diamondfield Jack Campground and Pettit Campground. Plus Harrington Fork Picnic Area.
Phone service: There is a phone at Murtuagh Lake Park and our cell phones had decent reception.
Nearby Services: The town of Murtaugh is only a couple miles away for the everyday camping needs.
RV Dumping Site: None nearby, but I have found one at Anderson Camp Near Eden, Idaho. They charge $8.00 for use of their RV dump.
Location/Driving instructions: From Twin Falls follow this Google Map.

Fees And Reservations: To reserve your site call Twin Falls County Parks and Waterways at (208) 734-9491. They use a paper reservation system so plan ahead! The fee schedule was not posted but I expect it to match Murtaugh Lake Park where the RV sites are $15.00 per day while the tent sites are only $5.00.
