Name: Willow Creek Campground
Willow Creek Campground in the Sawtooth National Forest is very small having only 3 campsites. It is situated across the road from the South Fork of the Boise River east of Featherville where the Virginia Gulch Trail crosses the Boise River. It is in a small flat along the side of the road leading to Willow Creek Transfer Camp. The area is forested with some underbrush.
Campsites: There are 3 campsites, each have a picnic table and fire pit. The driveways are gravel but are pretty much dirt in some spots.
Host on Site: No.
Water: No.
Garbage Services: No, but there is a dumpster at the Forest Service Station 1 mile downstream.
Electricity Available: No.
Restroom: Willow Creek Campground has a newer vault style outhouse which was clean at the time of our visit.
Handicap Accessible: The outhouse is handicap accessible.
Firewood: You will need to provide your own firewood.
Pets: No restrictions posted.
Picnic Area: No.
Recreation: Recreation here includes camping, fishing and trail riding primarily.
Fishing: Fishing is available in the South Fork of the Boise River for trout, whitefish and there is a run of kokanee salmon. Check the regulations for seasons and limits.
Boating: None.
Swimming: None.
Wildlife: Deer are common. Elk, black bear and wolves also live in these woods. Smaller mammals like fox and squirrels plus numerous birds can be found.

Phone service: I had no cell phone reception anywhere in this area with my ATT service. There is an emergency pay phone at a forest service station about 1 mile west along the river.
Nearby Services: Featherville, Idaho is the nearest source for camping supplies like food, gas and pop should the need arise.
RV Dumping Site: I don't know of one at Pine or Featherville. There is one to the east at the Big Smokey Guard Station.
