Silver Creek Campground

Name: Silver Creek Campground

Silver Creek Campground is located on the west bank of Silver Creek and Silver Creek Plunge is on the east side. Silver Creek Plunge was developed from a natural hot spring and is now a large concrete pool. I have included pictures and a copy of their brochure. Check them out! This area is heavily forested with ample underbrush mixed with meadows along the creek.

Campsites: There are 51 standard sites, 2 group sites and 4 tent only sites. The roads and driveways are paved while the picnic table area is fine gravel. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit with attached grate and a prep table. For info on campsites on Silver Creek Plunge land, click the link "Silver Creek Plunge" for their brochure. For site details check out recreation.gov's link.

Host on Site: Todd is the host for the campground and can be found at the Silver Creek Plunge office which he manages.

Water: There is fresh drinking water available throughout the campground.

Garbage Services: No, you will need to pack out your garbage.

Electricity Available: No electricity in Silver Creek Campground or the group areas but it is available in some sites at Silver Creek Plunge.

Restroom: There are multiple vault style outhouses scattered throughout the campground.

Handicap Accessible: Silver Creek Campground is very handicap accessible, from the outhouses to the paved roads and driveways and even some paths.

Firewood: I didn't see a sign advertising firewood but it should be available at the Silver Creek Plunge office.

Pets: Pets are allowed but must be on a leash.

Picnic Area: There is a large grassy field with a playground and picnic tables near the swim pool.
