Name: Boiling Springs Campground
Boiling Springs Campground is set on the west bank of the Middle Fork of the Payette River. Boiling Hot Springs are only a few hundred yards north on the road. The campground is on flat land next to the river and extends up a hill a bit. This area is heavily forested and offers beautiful fall scenery.
Campsites: There are 8 campsites, each having a picnic table and fire pit with attached grate. The road and driveways are gravel while the sites are dirt.
Host on Site: No, the host is at Trail Creek Campground.
Water: There is a hand pump equipped well for drinking water.
Garbage Services: No.
Electricity Available: No.
Restroom: There is one vault style outhouse. It was clean and well stocked when we visited.
Handicap Accessible: The outhouse is handicap accessible but nothing else is.
Firewood: I would recommend you provide your own.
Pets: Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash or kenneled.
Picnic Area: There is no designated picnic area but there are many primitive sites which are free and could be used for your picnic.
Recreation: Camping, fishing, hiking, 4-wheeling, photography and much more is available. Boiling Hot Springs are nearby.
Fishing: Fishing in the Middle Fork of the Payette River is available for trout and whitefish. Check the regulations at here.
Boating: No.
Swimming: Wading or playing in the river is available but there is no "swimming" area.
Wildlife: Deer, elk, black bear, wolves, fox and many other woodland animals live in the forest here.
