Name: Peace Creek Trailhead

Peace Creek Trailhead is situated on the west bank of Silver Creek where Peace Creek joins. The land is open meadow with a few trees scattered about. The mountains nearby are heavily forested and can be quite steep. Trail #26 leads east along Peace Creek. It is available for horse, foot, motorcycle and bike traffic.

Campsites: There are a few primitive campsites near the trailhead. At least one site has a feed bunk and hitching rail.

Electricity Available: No.

Restroom: There is a vault style outhouse which was clean and well stocked at the time of our visit.

Handicap Accessible: The outhouse is handicap accessible.

Firewood: No.

Pets: On a leash.

Picnic Area: Primitive sites are available.

Recreation: Camping, hiking, trail riding(horses only). No 4 wheelers allowed on the trail.

Fishing: Silver Creek is stocked and I have caught trout near the trailhead.

Boating: No.

Swimming: No.

Wildlife: Deer, elk, black bear, wolves and many other woodland animals live near here.
