This smallish pile of rocks is the attraction.
And here is why.
My question is, why only these rocks. Why not the rocks on nearby hills on canyon?
Maybe it's like the trees I see in eastern Oregon with shoes tied together and hung on the branches. I only see a tree here and there but there can be dozens of shoes on each tree.
Or gaffiti on railroad cars.
Parking for the Petroglyph area. You access this parking area by turning right on the first road after passing the sign at the entrance.

Rocks aren't the only thing painted here. The desert in twilight is painted and much prettier than the rocks.
