Name: Five Points Campground
Five Points Campground is located on a slope above Five Points Creek. The elevation is approximately 5900 feet with mountains nearby ranging from 8000 feet to Smoky Dome topping 9800 feet. There are many roads and trails to explore these mountains. Fishing in the area is limited to small streams and beaver ponds. There are some small lakes just to the north of Smoky Dome but it would be a hard hike up from the nearest road on Broadman Creek. Check it out on this Google Map. In June of 2011 there was no sign marking the entrance but the outhouse and info signs are fairly obvious from the road.
Campsites: Five Points has 7 campsites. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring with an attached grill. Sites 1 and 2 are near the road and are the most level. Sites 4 through 7 are on a slope. Both have a very small stream nearby. The road and driveways are gravel.
