Follow this googleMap from the Visitors Center and turn into the parking area at this sign. Terri and I really enjoyed hiking Indian Cliffs Trail. The view on top was great.
This map shows the trails in Heyburn State Park.
This is the trailhead for several trails.
This way to Indian Cliffs and CCC Trails.
There are a couple information signs here and more on the CCC Trail.
The trail starts out very easy.
This is the split in the trail straight ahead leads to Indian Cliffs Trail while the left is the CCC Trail. When you finish Indian Cliffs you will come in from the left here also. One can take Indian Cliffs by turning left as well, watch for the signs. We went around Indian Cliffs in a counter clockwise direction.
We took a short break here.
The trail climbs fair steeply here.
This view looks back to Hawleys Landing and Plummer Creek Marsh.
The view on top is quite nice.
Now we're started back down.
There is another bench on the way down too.
Finally we are on a gentle slope back to the split in the trails and our truck.
