Power Plant Campground is situated on a flat and some hills on the east band of the Middle Fork of the Boise River. The trailhead and group site are on the flat while the campsites start on the flat but continue into the hills. Other than a dry meadow near the entrance the area is covered by a mature forest. There are 22 campsites 3 outhouse style toilets, a handpump equipped well, a hot spring, a trailhead and a group site that make up the Power Plant Recreation area.
This is the entrance with the trailhead and group site to the left, Power Plant trail to the right while the campground is straight ahead.
The fees posted as of 9/1/21 are $15 for a single campsite and $30 for the group area.
There is no grabage service.
Bears rarely bother campers IF they take porper precautions with there food stuff and garbage.
