Hiking Warm Springs Trail #147 from Trailhead near Bull Trout Lake
We like to camp near Bull Trout Lake and have found it easier to find a campsite(and it's free) by one of the small lakes nearby. One of our activities while camping in 2016 was to hike the nearby trails. This review is of the first mile and a half of Warm Springs Trail #147. I have included a link to Google Maps wich shows how to get to the
trailhead from Stanley, Idaho. Since it is only 1.5 miles(one way) and is an easy hike you can take your small children or grandpa and grandma. Check it out below.
You start here at the trailhead on the rod to Bull Trout Lake.
You will see the normal warning and infomation signs.
Checkout this map for trails in this area.
In case you don't know why you should register your hike...If you don't return it gives searchers an idea of your plans.
The hike begins on the flat and
continues passed Martin Lake.
There are some small uphill moments.
The steepest spot on the hike.
This little lake makes a great spot for a picnic. We turned around here and headed back.
If you're camping in the area and want an easy hike this is a great choise. I hope you enjoy your time on the trail.
