Name: Cottonwood Forest Camp
Cottonwood Forest Camp is situated along Cottonwood Creek 2 miles from Cottonwood Ranger Station. We had a hard time finding this campground and actually had to stop and ask someone for directions at Irish Point. It is a mile or so past Irish Point and the road turns off to the left. The only marking was a mailbox marked "Cottonwood Station". After traveling almost 2 miles on this road, there was another unmarked turn that we missed the first time around. The sign says "Trailer Traffic not Advised". The area itself is pretty, and the 3 sites in this campground are nice, but here is a little warning: it is the perfect party haven. We were kept up until 3 a.m. with loud music.
Campsites: There are 3 sites that include tables, fire pits and barbecue grills. Trailers are not advised at this campground.
