Name: Celebration Park
CELEBRATION PARK is Idaho's Archaeological Park with over 700 acres located on the western boundary of the Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area. The Park serves as a beginning point for Halverson Bar and Lake trail. Warning: It can be very hot in July and August, bring extra water! Established as Idaho's only archaeological park in 1989, the park has been the recipient of several awards including an Orchid Award In Recognition of Superlative Achievement in Preserving Idaho's Heritage 1997 from Idaho Historic Preservation Council, and Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne's Take Pride in Idaho Award 2002. The river front park is visited each year by over 65,000 travelers from across the world that come to enjoy the high desert flora, scenic land features, and unique Indian Art.
Campsites: The campsites are located along the edge of the parking lot next to the river. There is one square with fire pits and tables designed for tent camping but there is also a couple spots for you to park your RV along the edge of the sites.
Host on Site: The park staff is available during office hours only.

Restroom: The restrooms have running water and flushing toilets, however some of the campsites are a good long walk away.
Handicap Accessible: Yes
Firewood: You will need to provide your own firewood.
Picnic Area: Yes there are several picnic tables including a beautiful site right on the river with a shade tree.
Recreation: Activities near the park include fishing, hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, touring the petroglyph's and camping.
Fishing: Fishing is available in the Snake River year around. I have caught bass just down stream from here. You may check the regulations through this link.

Swimming: There is no swimming area but the river is available.
Wildlife: Deer, coyotes, rabbits and birds, birds and more birds live here. For more information on the Idaho Birding Trail.
Phone service: There is a pay phone at the park. We did not have good cell reception on our ATT phones.
Nearby Services: Melba, Idaho is nearby and offer access to gas, food, pop and more.
