Name: Alpine Campground
Alpine Campground is located on some gently rolling hills on the northeast shore of Palisades Reservoir near Alpine, Wyoming. It sets in a mature forest and most campsites have some shade and the underbrush provides some level of privacy. It was very busy! We had to go elsewhere to find a campsite for the night even though we were there on a Wednesday in July.
Campsites: There are 16 campsites in the main campground. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit with attached grate. The road and driveways are gravel. There are 3 group sites, Loop A, B and C. A is one large central site, B has several individual sites and a central table area while C is made up of several rather old individual sites.
