Kachess Campground Recreation

The swimming beach in Kachess Campground is located near Gale Loop. We had a great time playing with our grandchildren.

Watch for this sign which leads you to the beach, picnic area and boat launch.

There is parking but it fills up and can be hard to come by.

We found serveral picnic tables available but if you want to be on the water bring your chairs.

Just passed the beach you will find the main boat launch.

There is another parking area here for you boat trailers however it to gets rather full at peak times.

At the far end of the campground there is another small boat launch. The launch site is rough and rocky, not intended for power boats.

A small turn around area for the boat launch.

There is another picnic area near this smaller boat launch also.

Lake Shore Trail takes off near this second boat launch. I was not able to use it as the bridge over the creek has washed out and the the creek was to high.
