Locust Park is an Idaho Power campground situated by the Snake River below CJ Strike Dam. It is a first come, first served park.

Amenities

Campsites
There are no individual campsites, however, there are fire pits spaced about a tree covered lawn. You just pull on the grass to the unnumbered site you have selected and set up camp.
Water
I didn't see a water hydrant, but Scout Park is very close and does have water available.
Restroom
There is a vault style outhouse near the river or for flushing toilets it is a very short drive to Scout Park.

Pets are welcome on a leash.

There is a RV dump Station available right across the road. It is seasonal so check with Idaho Power before you go.

There is cell phone reception in this campground, but limited. No pay phone at this campground, however there is one at North Park Campground

Dumpster available.

Recreation

Fishing
This is river fishing. Sturgeon, trout and catfish are primarily what they fish for along this stretch.
Boating
There is a boat ramp for access to the river.
Swimming
There is no swimming in this campground. The water has a strong current.

Fee Schedule
The fee is $15 with a $3 discount for seniors and a $5 discount for veterans.
Reservations
This park is a first come first serve facility.
