YouTube video of Cottonwood Forest Camp
The following is from our visit 15 years ago; "Cottonwood Forest Camp is situated along Cottonwood Creek 2 miles from Cottonwood Ranger Station. We had a hard time finding this campground and actually had to stop and ask someone for directions at Irish Point. It is a mile or so past Irish Point and the road turns off to the left. The only marking was a mailbox marked "Cottonwood Station". After traveling almost 2 miles on this road, there was another unmarked turn that we missed the first time around. The sign says, "Trailer Traffic not Advised". The area itself is pretty, and the 3 sites in this campground are nice, but here is a little warning: it is the perfect party haven. We were kept up until 3 a.m. with loud music." I can't say that anything has changed. It still isn't marked, in fact, the mailbox isn't there anymore. The campsites and facilities are also the same.

Getting There
On Road 268 it is 14.5 mi from Hwy 21. The Cottonwood Creek Rd. is a sharp left and has no signage to indicate there is a camp at all. Turn at the first left(Rd 377CC) about 1.7 miles which leads to Cottonwood Forest Camp.
