Name: Three Creek Lake Campground
We visted Three Creek Lake Campground in July of 2015 and these are our observations from that visit.
Three Creek Lake Campground is situated between Three Creek Lake and a ridge from the Tam McArthur Rim. The area in the campground and nearby is covered with a mature forest. Between the lake and the hiking trails you shouldn't have any trouble finding something to do.
Campsites: There are 11 campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire pit with attached grate. The road and driveways are gravel while the campsites are natural, mostly dirt. Most sites have shade during the majority of the day.
Host on Site: The camp host was located 2 miles away in Three Creek Meadow Campground but they will be through at least once per day.
Water: None here, come prepared.
Garbage Services: Yes there is garbage service available.
Electricity Available: No.
Restroom: There are two very clean vault style outhouse in the campground.
Handicap Accessible: The outhouses are handicap accessible.
Firewood: You may purchase firewood from the camp host. They normally have some with them when they are making their daily route.
Pets: Pets are allowed but should be on a leash.
Picnic Area: There are a few picnic tables near the "store" where you could have a picnic if you are not into camping.
Recreation: Recreational opportunities abound here. The lake is is available for fishing, boating, canoeing and float tubing. You can play on the beach, wade or swim also. There are trails in hills around the lake one of which I hiked and have included a "review" of that hike. You can find it in the "Recreation" page.
Fishing: Three Creek Lake is stocked and there are streams and a couple smaller lakes nearby.
Boating: No motors allowed on the lake. We saw several fishermen in float tubes and the "store" has canoes and row boats for rent.
Swimming: Swimming is allowed and there is a nice beach right at the campground. However swimming is at your risk as there is no lifeguard.
Wildlife: We saw deer several times in the area including one nice 3 or 4 point buck. That's western style count on that buck. You could run across elk, moose, bear and many woodland critters as well as birds of all sizes and shapes.
Nearby Services: The store on the lake was open Friday through Sunday and offers supplies such as chips, pop, candy, propane, fishing tackle and more. For more you will need to drive back to Sisters, OR about 15 miles away.
RV Dumping Site: There is one in Sisters but I didn't look it up.
Location/Driving instructions: Google Maps is not working at this time. It doesn't recognize a small section of Three Creek Road near the lake. So from Sisters, Oregon turn south on S Elm St.. Elm St turns into Three Creek Lake Rd as you leave town. Follow Three Creek Lake Rd 17 mile to the campground. If you are using an Iphone it will pull up the path by searching from Sisters, Or to Three Creek Lake.

Fees And Reservations: You may reserve a campsite at Three Creek Lake Campground at recreation.gov. Current fees range from $12.75 to $14.75 per night. This is a popular area since it close to Bend and much cooler. I would rocommend making reservations rather than hoping for an open campsite. The sign at the campground indicated the fee was $14 per night. I'm not sure why there is a difference.
