Name: Riverside Campground
Riverside Campground is located along the Salmon River on Hwy 75 between Stanley and Challis, Idaho. The area is forested with brush along the river. The river valley is narrow here so there is little extra room. Most of the sites are exposed to the highway. The White Cloud Mountains are to the south across the river.
Campsites: There are 17 tent / RV camping sites. Each is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring with attached grill. The roads and driveways are gravel. The campground is divided by Hwy 75 so there are two loops; one loop is by the Salmon River where the sites are quite nice. The other loop is above the highway, where a couple of the sites are back against the hills and offer more privacy and access to the hills for hiking in the woods.
