Name: Indian Mary Park
Indian Mary Park is the crown jewel of the Josephine County park system. It offers over 80 campsites most with hook-ups, boat launch facilities which provide access to the Rogue River, groups shelter, picnic area and other recreational activities all in a well groomed park setting. There are tons of trees to provide the shade I would want and open areas for those that like the sun.
Campsites: The roads and driveways are paved. There are 40 campsites with full hook-ups(50 amp electrical-water-sewer), another 10 with electric-water hookups and 30 tent sites water available. Campsites are very close together.
Host on Site: Yes
Water: 50 campsites have water hook-ups the rest have water available nearby.
Garbage Services: Yes
Electricity Available: Yes, in 50 campsites. Up to 50 amp service.
Restroom: There are 3 restrooms 2 have showers.
Handicap Accessible: There are 2 handicap accessible campsites but the park is far more handicap friendly than most.
Firewood: Yes there is firewood which may be purchased.
Pets: Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
Picnic Area: Yes and a group shelter
Recreation: Camping, fishing, drift boating, volleyball, horseshoes, basketball, playground, dics golf and swimming/wading are among the recreational activities available in Indian Mary Park.
Fishing: The Rogue River runs by the park and has some of the best fishing available.
Boating: Drift boat launch facility available.
Swimming: It appeared to me people use the river near the boat launch to swim or wade but it would be at your own risk.
Hiking: Due to a recent fire the Umpqua Joe trail was closed for the removal of dangerous trees. Check with the park for updates on this.
Wildlife: I wouldn't be surprised to see deer in the park. Black bear live in these woods but I would not expect to have troubles with them.
