Name: Bench Creek Campground
Bench Creek Campground is set on the west side of Highway 21 just north of Banner Summit. It is forested but not dense forest. With only 5 campsites you shouldn't be to crowded here. There is no recreation at the campground itself but is near Bull Trout and Martin Lakes as well as many streams where trout abound. There are trails nearby to hike and the Sawtooth Mountains and Frank Church Wilderness Area offer even more hiking and fishing oppotunities.
Campsites: There are 5 campsite each with a picnic table and fire ring. The road and driveways are paved while the site is natural.

Restroom: There is one vault style outhouse which was clean and well stocked with toilet paper at the time of our visit.
Handicap Accessible: With paved roads, driveways and a handicap accessible toilet I would say Bench Creek Campground is more handicap friendly than most small campgrounds.

Pets: Allowed on a leash.

Recreation: There are no recreational opportunities in the campground other than what you bring with you. However the surround areas abound with many options. There are 2 trailheads along the road to Bull Trout Campground and more in the nearly every direction. Check out the link to the Idaho Trails Map. Fishing can be found in several small lakes along the road to Bull Trout Lake as well as Bull Trout and Martin Lakes. Swimming is available in Bull Trout Lake and 26 miles away at Stanley Lake as well as other location.
Fishing: Trout are available in nearby streams and lake. Bull Trout, Martin and other small un-named lakes along Bull Trout road are stocked and I have had good luck catching them.

Wildlife: Deer are often found in this area and you are likely to hear wolves howling at night. Bear should also be considered when it comes to storing your food and garbage.
