Ahsahka Access Site Campground is an undeveloped campground along the Clearwater River with a boat launch and an outhouse. There is a 30 day stay limit which is longer than most campgrounds. We observed that it looked like some of the campers had been there a while. There is a sign reminding you not to remove any artifacts or relics of any kind.

Campsites: There are no picnic tables or actual fire rings, but there are hand made rock fire pits.

Electricity Available: No

Restroom: Yes, a vault style outhouse.

Handicap Accessible: Yes.

Firewood: No

Pets: Pets should be on a leash.

Recreation: Recreation here is fishing in the Clearwater River. 

Fishing: Fishing access to the Clearwater River.

Boating: Yes, there is a boat ramp.

Swimming: The river was high while we were there but there may be some swimmers later in the summer.

Phone service: No pay phone.

Nearby Services: Full services are available in Orofino up Highway 7 just 3.6 miles.

RV Dumping Site: No dumping station.

Location/Driving instructions: From Orofino, Idaho follow Highway 7 just 3.6 miles West.
