Adams Fork Campground

Name: Adams Fork Campground

Adams Fork Campground is along the Adams Creek Fork of the Cispus River in a mature forest. Most campsite are well shaded with pineneedles covering the ground. There is little undergrowth in the campground so less privacy than some other campground but I would still be comfortable here.

Campsites:

There are 24 single campsites for tent or RV camping. Two of these sites can be used together for a group of up to 45. Each site offers a picnic table and fire pit with attached grate. The road and driveways are paved.

Host on Site:

The host stays in site 1 and is available as needed.

Water: There is a hand pump equipped well.

Garbage Services: Yes

Electricity Available: No.

Restroom: The vault style outhouse was clean and well stock at the time of our visit.

Firewood:

Firewood was available at the camp host for $6 per bundle in 2013.

Pets: Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash or in a kennel.

Picnic Area: No.

Recreation:

I have included this information from recreation.gov. "Part of the Randle Recreation Area, Adams Fork Campground is an ideal location for many recreational activities. The Valley Trail network, popular with dirt bikes and ATVs, offers 50 miles of multi-use trails close to this campground.

Hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers can also use the Valley Trail, which offers views of the Cispus River Valley and Tongue Mountain and anglers can fish for brook trout in the Cispus River."

Fishing: Trout may be caught in Cispus River.

Boating: No.

Swimming: The river is available but there is no designated swimming area.

Wildlife: Deer and black bear would be common in this forest so use caution when storing your food and use the garbage service to dispose of your wastes.

Nearby Services:  Randle, WA to the north is the nearest source for food, gas, fishing tackle and other camping supplies.

RV Dumping Site: There is an RV dump station at Maple Grocery in Randle, WA.
