Name: Easley Campground

This review is made from the imformation we gathered from our visit on September 9, 2021 and was accurate as of that time.

Easley Campground is situated along the Big Wood River on level ground. There are 10 campsites set in aspen and cottonwood trees. The road and driveways are gravel while the sites are dirt. Easley hot springs is located across the river.

Campsites: There are 10 campsites each is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring with attached grate. The road and driveways are gravel while the sites are dirt. It is a natural setting not trimmed but not overgrown either. Shade varies greatly from site to site.

Host on Site: No

Water: Yes, you may get camp water from a hand pump equipped well.

Garbage Services: Yes

Electricity Available: No

Restroom: There is a vault style outhouse which was fairly clean and stocked with toilet paper.

Handicap Accessible: Not really

Firewood: No

Pets: Pets are allowed but must be on a leash.

Picnic Area: Nearby but not in the campground.

Recreation: Recreation opportunities include swimming at the hot springs, hiking or biking the Harriman Trail, camping, fishing and watching wildlfie. Billy's Bridge goat viewing point is nearby.

Fishing: I found the fishing to be limited. The Big Wood River is on site but is very small.

Boating: No

Swimming: Swimming is available at Easley Hot Spring which is located just across the river.

Hiking: Harriman Trail runs through the campground and there are other trails to drive to.

Wildlife: There are bear warnings. There is a mountain goat viewing point nearby. Deer, squirrels, birds and others.

Gas and Food: Gas, food and other services can be found in Ketchum, Idaho which is 18 miles away.

Fees And Reservations: Per signage at the campground it was $16 for a single site and $32 for a double. For the current fee schedule and to reserve your campsite go to recreation.gov.
